Performance Standards

Many supervisors are promoted to their roles just because they did their previous job well. They are rarely trained in how then to supervise effectively.

So, how do they then fulfil the defined role of a manager, of 'getting things done through other people'? Do they rely on the goodwill of their staff? Do they order them, with threats?

Career Headway's workshop will show them how to coach a team member in a task and, in doing so, agree with them a 'contract' as to the performance standards required of the employee.

The result is that team members then know what is required of them and how to perform their duties, and have agreed a performance contract for which they are accountable.

Whilst this workshop can be delivered in isolation, the above output does provide useful input to both Career Headway's Performance Appraisal and Work Measurement Systems.
