Career Headway is an association of career guidance and human resource specialists, based in the north west of England but covering the whole of the UK. Since 1992, Career Headway have been working successfully with many companies, providing business-to-business support on a variety of Human Resource issues, specialising in not only Outplacement and Redundancy Counselling (Individual or Group), but also Early Retirement Programmes, and coaching in Performance Appraisals, agreeing Performance Standards, Work Measurement, etc. Through the strategy of not taking on City Centre office premises - and the resultant overheads - Career Headway is able to deliver a professional service without needing to charge the level of fees quoted by 'big name' consultancies. In any event, most of those organisations do not employ their own full-time counsellors, preferring to outsource the delivery to consultants such as those at Career Headway.
